Moving film...watch it, with subtitles if you need to

I watched this for a class last year, and it has to be one of the best politically centered movies I've ever seen. With a twist on the "Romeo and Juliet" plot device created by the oppression of the erection of the Berlin Wall, as well as terrific writing made this a movie you don't want to stop watching til the end, whether or not you speak the German language (note: I do not, and this still did an outstanding job of putting me in the shoes of those hindered by the Berlin Wall).

I rather liked Baines. We shared the same bootmaker.
