Two different films?

"Un indien dans la ville" is a French language film. "Little Indian, Big City" is that film dubbed into English. I think that makes "Little Indian, Big City" a different film. In a dub, not only is the dialog content different, just as subtitles are often poor translations, but the personalities and their chemistry is lost. And a bad dub, as this has been called (critic James Berardinelli), can make a movie unbearable, for me anyway.

So why should people be voting for and commenting on "Little Indian, Big City" on the page for "Un indien dans la ville"?

I'd suspect that without the 'badly-dubbed' factor it would be rated higher, maybe about a point to 6.4.
