There have been three DVD releases for Un Indien Dans La Ville, in 1998, 2000 and 2007, all by TF1 Video.
The 2007 package features a banner across the top stating "DVD à la UNE". Hopefully that means a new master; my 1998 DVD has basically low-image quality, like it was made from a VHS master.

I'd definitely say choose the 2007 version.

I could find no mention of any coming Blu-ray.
Hi-Def from Netflix or iTunes is another possibility to watch for.
