Anyone else find this film expecially disturbing?

All films dealing with abuse are disturbing, but this one had some scenes that are burned into my brain.

The part where the father is literally throwing his daughter around, while punching her in the face really disturbed me; plus the fact that the mother was said to just be watching, saying "Not in the face! Not in the face!" And when the father hits the son so hard blood spatters the wall!

And when the father is ripping the clothes off a cringing daughter. This film chilled me to the bone.

Anyone agree??

Disturbing...Oh yes I agree. Even more disturbing, right at the beginning of the movie it states "Based on a true story".
That's just too much to think about.

It is sickening to think that someone could do that to their own children. I am glad this story could make it onto TV so victims of abuse can come forth.
