Peak of Arnold's career.... agree?

This has got to be the best movie Arnold has done, the direction by the great Cameron, the script, the music and Curtis has never been so sexy. Acting is not one of Arnold's strong points but here Cameron brought out the best in him.
If someone disagrees then please post which according to you is his best and why.

Totally agree with you.

@debabrata4747 For me it's Terminator 2. Arnold returning to his iconic role, cutting-edge special effects, a terrific twist, a dash of comedy, and James Cameron before he got into sentimental BS with Titanic and Avatar.

For me this certainly is. In my opinion Arnold's peak starts with Total Recall and ends with True Lies.

He had a lot of *beep* in-between as well but that's because he became so utterly bankable they just stuck him into anything. But this film represents that sweet spot for Blockbuster action films. Great special effects and acting, comical when appropriate with a serious plotline ahead of its time. Also it's one of the last great action films before CG takes over so it looks absolutely fantastic!

You won't ever get an action film like this again.

Fact is it was Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Yeah, I think Arnold had hit his peak in 1994 and it started to dwindle down from there.

In the same year that True Lies came out, he also starred in Junior (1994) alongside Danny DeVito. While the film was pretty much laughable, it wasn't all that bad. The same can be said about Eraser (1996); good flick but not really worth watching it again.

Then you had what a lot people consider the worst film of all time: Batman & Robin (1997). I think that's what potentially hurt his career the most.

He then went on to do Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003). From that point forward, you could tell he was willing to star in just about any role that he was offered.

I can't say much about The Expendables (2010) or any of the sequels since those movies were primarily an ensemble, but his most recent movie Terminator Genisys (2015) was definitely an eye-roller.

The early to mid-'90s was definitely his prime. I don't think he'll ever be able to make a comeback. I suppose the same can be said about actors like Stallone; the '80s and '90s were a fantastic time for them to star in huge action-packed movies. Nowadays, not so much.

The Terminator, Predator, Total Recall and Terminator 2 are just as good if not better than True Lies. But True Lies is pretty much the last great movie he starred in, so... I guess you can say he did hit his peak with this movie.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

Agree with all that's been said. Eraser was a step down from True Lies but still a decent Arnie Movie, alot better than anything that Arnold has done since...

I've always liked him in Predator but it seems to not get much mention.

Yeah this is the last great movie from Arnie..

Def the last great Arnold film although Eraser and Jingle All The Way were a lot of fun as well. This was his last great blockbuster though.

I have to rank Twins close if not equal. The scene where DeVito is teaching him to dance has me in stitches every time I see it. Plus his delivery of his line right after being rebuffed by the doctor: "For the first time in my life, I'm REALLY PISSED OFF!"
