The first time I heard about this story is on Unsolved Mysteries. Has anybody else seen this story on Unsolved Mysteries?

No, I never saw it on Unsolved Mysteries, but then again, why would I? This isn't an unsolved mystery. So as not to ruin the movie or book for anyone, they knew exactly what happened to everyone at the end of the movie. There was nothing left unexplained in this movie.
