To those who have seen it

Did you like to watch it because you're a fan of spanish cinema or did you simply see the title and thought, Eye eye I'm watching this?

reply

Well, I wouldn't really say I'm a *fan* of Spanish cinema, but I'm studying both Spanish and Catalan, and I rented because I thought (erroneously) that it was in Catalan.

Still, it was an interesting movie on its own terms, and even if I didn't get any Catalan practice from it, I did get some Spanish!

BTW, still not the strangest films in Spanish I've seen. Those would be
1. El Topo
2. The Holy Mountain
and in Catalan, the bizarre and ugly Caresses.

You should probably study Catalan a little more, because almost everything Tete and most of the locals say is in Catalan, they only speak Castillan to the French people.

Both, IanGorton, and I had seen some of Lunas' films. Actually, the title put me off a bit until I read up on the film.

Fan of Pedro Almodovar films so when I see something else in Spanish I like to give it a try.

Fan of Spanish cinema....

...the tetas were a bonus.

I bought it for a pound and it was the fact that the DVD was a Tartan release that caught my eye. When I read the back of the DVD I realised I'd seen the first 2 in the Trilogy, so had to have it at that price! Lovely film. Almost a tear in my eye when Tete made it to the top of the tower. The most stylish film I've ever seen about Tits and Farting :-)
