Quite how Miquel's singing ever melted the heart of Estrellita, I've no idea; I had to turn the sound down. But then she was a woman with somewhat unusual tastes: toes, farts, etc. Maybe an actor who could actually sing would have been an idea, or some judicious dubbing.

Well... If you're not really into Flamenco, you wouldn't get that he is not bad at all. I mean, he's not the reincarnation of Flamenco, but he's pretty good at it.
Now, the real reason is not how good he was singing to Estrellita, but she never felt someone with a deep pain singing "just for her" as she tells to her husband. That was personal.
