Not on dvd...... why aren't the Tek War movies on dvd??
Why aren't the Tekwar Movies on dvd?????
shareWhy aren't the Tekwar Movies on dvd?????
shareDid you manage to find the orginal 4 movies anywhere?
shareYes I found then on a website called WWW.TVDVDPLANET.COM go there and you'll get the entire series for 119.00
shareIsn't that just the tv series and not the movies?
shareHow many movies were they I know of one movie but that's all.
I'll see what they have
somebody said in another post that there were 4. I'm pretty sure tvdvdplanet only sells the tv series. There is somebody else on another website that is selling the tv series and the movies so you can get them all at once.
shareI check the sites all over and I don't see the movie only one on Amazon.com
Maybe the dics would have the movies as well they should be part of the TV series.
Go to Amazon.com they have a few movies TekLab
shareI checked on tvdvdplanet.com and it is definitely only the tv series they are selling. Did they use the movies as 2 parters in the tv series, or they're totally something separate and not in the tv series at all?
shareI believe they'r separete show from the tv shows...Did you check AMAZON.COM they may have some of the movies on tape not DVD
shareYeah but the thing is, there's a guy that's selling the whole tv series with the movies included so I think I"m gonna get them all in one shot
shareDon't I feel stupid. I did not even realize every episode was released officially. But god damm 160 dollars????? you've gotta be kidding me. There's series that ran for 7 seasons that don't cost that much. Talk about a ripoff.
shareThere were FOUR Tek TV movies produced as part of the "Action Pak", a late night series of TV movies.. mostly I think produced as a series of "back door pilots". They included one two that actually DID go to series, "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys", there were 3-4 of these.. there were FOUR sequels to "Smokey and the Bandit", from original director Hal Needham no less (these have been airing on the Sleuth network on DirecTV). Vanishing Son, an asian.. martial arts series of movies.. that I don't really recall, four sequels to the Deniro/Grodin starrer "Midnight Run".
The TekWar films include.
TekWar
TekLAB
TekLORDS
and
TekJustice (this one is not based in title or even plot on any of the seven Shatner books).
you can check on the Bandit films as well, starring Brian Bloom as "Bandit"
that include (stars included Tracie Lords, Mel Tellis, Elizabeth Berkley and Kathy Ireland, off hand that I recall... I THINK Tony Curtis was a mobster in one as well).
Bandit Goes Country
Bandit, Bandit
Beauty and the Bandit111
and
Bandit's Silver Angel
SO when I buy up everything, I should watch all 4 movies first in the order you wrote them in and then start watching the tv series?
shareThe series certainly takes place well after the first movie and is made as an episodic run - so unlikely to include the other movies. I'm watching it now, having found it in a discount bin at a Giant Tiger department store.
shareTekwar....Teklords...Teklab...Tekjustice are available on dvd-r at ioffer.com
shareYep I'm way ahead of ya lol. I bought them off Ioffer.com many months ago. Thanks! I enjoyed it. Didn't think it was great, but good
