For the record, Denise Richards and Paul Walker suck anyway.

Their filmographies are barren of anything worth watching (with the exception of Pleasantville and Undercover Brother). I dare say neither of them has been in anything much better than "Tammy and the T-Rex", as horrible as that movie was.

Richards's most well-known role is a notorious nude scene in "Wild Things", besides that she plays a Bond chick in one of the worst Bond movies, had a role in a sequel to one of the worst movies ever made (Scary Movie), starred in what is regarded as one of the worst sci-fi movies of all time (Starship Troopers), and appeared in one of the last of the crapppy slashers of the modern era (Valentine) alongside David Boreanaz.

Paul Walker of course you'll recognize as the star of both of the "the Fast and the Furious" films (or as people I know call them "the Queer and the Curious"), but he also was in "She's All That" (or as I like to call it "the Breakdown of Modern Civilization"), "the Skulls" (or "Contrived Unoriginal Garbage"), and "Varsity Blues" ("Just Plain Overblown").

Big friggin' surprise that two so distinguished thespians would appear in an ill-concieved TV movie. Big Surprise.

Exactly who (other than you) regards Starship Troopers as one of the worst Sci-Fi films of all time?

Given how much you clearly hate these two, it seems strange that you've seen most films they've starred in.

I can't understand people who decide they hate a type of film (like 'crappy slashers'), but still watch all of them and complain how poor they are. If you don't like them, don't watch them - I don't like slushy romance films, so guess what??? I DON'T WATCH THEM. You clearly have too much spare time in your life, if you sit around watching films you know you won't like, starring actors you hate.

I can't help it, I'm too girly. I like Paul Walker, and I think Denise Richards has had some funny movies (Drop Dead Gorgeous). They both became fampus, but I think it's cool that you can trace it back to this. Sh!t, I'd be thrilled if I got to even be in this peice of crap movie. And I'm sure at the time that's what they were thinking too.

We need body rockin' not perfection. Let me get some action from the back section.

Spirit of the 80's?

The movie was made and released in the early 90's.

Though I disagree with his opinion of Starship Troopers, I still think this was one HILARIOUS post.

I agree with WhatsInAUserID.

Why have you continued seeing these two actors', which you hate, films if you are only going to criticize the films themselves just for starring one or the other? I personally love Denise Richards, and though I don't care for Paul Walker, he's not that bad at all. Wild Things is one of my all time favorite movies. Starship Troopers, Valentine and Varsity Blues are all very enjoyable, and I like this movie for it's camp atmosphere and fun performances.

I'd rather be disemboweled with a toothbrush.

Starship Troopers is great imo, and is widely considered so. Anyone who would tout it as "one of the worst-ever!" is dense and did not get what the movie was going for. Verhoeven is a genius! The whole rah-rah citizenry thing, the whole movie is steeped in satire, funny stuff, and the action is actually good to.

Hah look at this asshole, 19 years ago, calling Starship Troopers one of the worst sci fi films ever. What a dummbass.

It works if his post was satire.
