Only 6.2?!

What gives? This was way better than The Little Mermaid and other Disney films. It deserves at least an 8.

I try to be like Grace Kelly, but all her looks were too

I agree about the 8-rating, but I personally prefer some of the Disney classics. =)

This movie has always beat out every Disney movie in my book. I watched it at least once a week when I was a little kid.

It deserves at least a 7.

I gave it a 10. I enjoyed it alot as a kid and I enjoyed it alot now as an adult.

Probably some people would disagree, but I think this movie definitively deserves to be ranked as high as the Renaissance films.

oh c'mon! sure, it did have its moments with good animation and music, but no. this movie was FAR from perfect! it's not even close to what you say. i sat through the whole thing and i couldn't help but yawn at least 5 or 6 times. it was a pretty lame and boring movie. so in my thought, it doesn't deserve the 6.4 rating it had. i'm gonna go ahead and say 5 or 5.2 at the least.

No, this film does not deserve an 8 and it's current rating is almost too generous. I admit, I find films like this, Thumbelina, and Happily Ever After to be hilariously bad. They do make me laugh so they're not completely worthless. But as someone who supports animation respect, films like this simply harm animation's credibility.

I wouldn't say it's better than The Little Mermaid, but The Swan Princess is much better than people give it credit for. It's actually one of my favorite non-Disney animated movies. So underrated.
It deserves at least a 7/10 on IMDb.

6.2 would be my rating
