Why I love this movie

This movie is a guilty pleasure for me. My favorite thing about it is there's no racial element to it. Mason is black, but his best friend is Hank--an elderly white man. The have a violent confrontation with a black security guard. The person who tricks Mason into become the hunted is Walter--a black man. It would have been easy for this to be cliche--I'm glad the movie's makers thought outside the racial politics box.

I agree, glad they left out the racial tone.

Plus, the first homeless guy they show being hunted is white.

The only time race is referenced is when Mason calls Cole a sellout. A "punk sellout motherfvcker", to be precise.
