Thank you! My thoughts exactly! I even googled the movie to see if the actor was gay. Not well played by his side. I like Russel a lot thought.

"Father looked a lot gayer than the son". What a silly remark; perhaps the fact that Thompson's character could look "so gay" is to show that homosexuality is not defined by the way one looks or acts. Comments like yours, as innocent as they seem, only reinforce stereotypes and prejudice.

"The fundamental things apply, as time goes by."

That is so absurd. The father didn't look gay at all.
