Guile is Colonel William F Guile now of the AN (United Nations aka: military) where as in the game he is in the air force. He is American now with a Brussels accent! He never wears the green attire, only the blue.

Chun Li is a reporter. Her camera crew is E Honda who is not Japanese, he is now Samoan, and Balrog who is not a bad guy (boss) working with Bison, he's a good guy in the film.

Sagat is not 7'6 in the film, lol.

Ryu and Ken are not prime players, and take ^%$#@ from Guile. Where as in the game Ryu and Ken would not be little b^%$#@s

Cammy is played by Kylie Minouge. Enough said *shudder*

Zangief has taken the bad guy role away from Balrog.

T.Hawk has shrunk into a highly forgettable side character that has no point being in the movie at all.

Dim Sim is not a yoga master, but a doctor of science.

Dee Jay is working for Bison as a jester or something.

Blanka is no longer some poor womans lost son who was lost and raised in the jungles of south America by wild animals... he is now Charlie (from other street fighter games) who Bison realizes is Guiles best friend and decides to experiment on him, creating the first of many intended super soldiers.

Fei Long has become a master of permanent silence and invisibility.

The guy on Chun Li's stage doing something to chickens has been revealed to be named captain Sawada.

And no one can throw projectiles or do cool super moves.

Almost everything except the character's names, though some of them resemble their VG counterparts more than others. Guile and Bison do use their video game "victory lines" before their final battle.

Guile: Are you bad enough to fight with me?
Bison: Anyone who opposes me will be destroyed!

E. Honda in this film is depicted as a Japanese American hailing from Hawaii. The actor Peter Navy Tuiasosopo, who plays E. Honda, was born in American Samoa.
