More damage in the end then would of been if bomb exploded?

So they get 12-13 ppl off the bus, then it drives straight into a 747 plane or whatever it was and completely blows it up.

How did they know wasnt going to be a plane full of passengers which would of been worse disaster then if the bus blew up?

Even if the plane was empty wouldnt the financial cost of the plane being destroyed outway the cost of the deaths on the bus?

Im sure if the insurance investigators had a choice they would of gone for the deaths on the bus rather then payout for the plane.
Not a humane thought i know but the dollar rules to corporations!

You don't think the authorities evacuated the airport as soon as it was clear that that's where a bus with a bomb on board was heading? I'm sure the plane was being towed away to get it as far away from the bus as possible, but the collision was not something that was planned when the bus first entered the airport. Keanu was pretty much forced to do it because of the unexpected explosion.

Are you seriously claiming that they should have let the people on the bus die rather than destroy the plane? Remind me to never allow you to make any critical decisions.

If you were in charge and had made that decision there would be a good chance of you facing charges of manslaughter or worse.

Rational response.

Insurance adjusters wouldn't be making this decision, the police were. One unwritten rule for law enforcement: When you have to make a decision, Property is worthless, life is priceless.

I agree!!

I dont think there would of been enough time to evacuate the airport, and not knowing if the plane was full of people when it hit could of resulted in far more casualties.
Im not saying he should of sacrificed the ppl on the bus but it was an unexpected collision with the plane and far more could of been killed.

I was always disappointed that the c-4 didn't put a hole in the world like Jack said. It was fairly tame.

Well, regarding just pure money and financial losses this is true. Saving people trumps the finances. You don't willfully let people die to save money.

Also, the plane, it has been a while but I seem to recall it being a cargo plane (not passenger) and it was being towed by a tug to or from a hanger, it wasn't being piloted.

reply

that means they hadnt evacuated then, probly a crew in that plane
