I've never seen this film but I kind of want to but I had read that this movie received loads of negative reviews on rotten tomatoes and such. How bad could this movie be if it has two wonderful actors like Geena Davis and of course Michael Keaton?
shareits not bad..its not great either but you can get through it..i prefer micheal Keaton in pure comedies but he wasn't bad in this one
shareIf you like Keaton and Davis like I do, you'll probably find things to like in Speechless, but ironically in a film about 2 speechwriters, I think the script lets the 2 leads down. It's just not funny or witty enough for my liking.🐭

shareAgreed. I really like the stars but a romantic couple they ain't. I trundles along OK but never really lifts off. The most interesting thing is Christopher Reeve. He doesn't have a lot to do and doesn't exactly shine - but I'd forgotten how big he was.
