I'm new at this so please be patient with me. I have a copy of this movie on VHS. It says that it is CC but I can't get the words to show up. In my System Menu, there is a line for CC that lists "Service 1 - 6" There is also an off option. I have tried all of the different services. I also tried to turn it off and just let my TV do the CC. That didn't work either. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I have seen this movie but it was quite a while ago and unfortunately my hearing is such that I can no longer make out the words that are being said. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Have you tried changing the format of your TV screen?

Adjusting the VCR tracking can help. Or you can also get the DVD, which is also Closed Captioned.

I'm not really sure if this has anything to do with Slaughter of the Innocents aside from having a technical issue with a VHS copy of said film, as this could happen with any other VHS tape. Just saying.
