Just bought the DVD
Just bought the DVD. Unfortunately there is not much in the extras. Too bad they could not get Elle, Kate, Portia, Pamela and Tara for a commentary. Oh well.

shareAll that they had was biographies and scene selections.
shareIt's very rare to get much in the way of extras on older films isn't it? They do a lot at the same time as the film now that they know there is going to be as DVD.
The right to free speech stops short of shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theatre. Mark Twain
There's no biographies on my DVD just a trailer. It would have been interesting if the five girls did do a commentary as I would like to hear about their experience of their nakedness in the film.
13/9/08: To go a little bit off-track here, Elle Macpherson was in The Friday Night Project, eight days ago.
I love Elle Macpherson and I am her true husband.
They were probably not too concerned with being "naked". The proper term is "undraped"; but you can use "nude". I was an "undraped" model for an artist league in the early 1980s; that is why I harp on the differences in the terms; naked implying an exposure. Being nude is not considered the same as being naked; though it can be hard to believe. Yes, I was nervous the first few times, but after you get used to it (as these women have undoubtably posed quite a lot before they were in movies) the main problem is not being nude, but simply in holding a pose for however long you need to hold it. As for the actresses; anybody can be nude in front of a camera but to act (or pose) the right way for a part is much more difficult-even with your clothes on.
It was quite silly that I was nervous at first posing nude. Then I had a nice figure; now with middle age I weigh close to 200 pounds. Now, posing nude would really be embarrasing!!!! ;) If you see Kathy Bates in "About Schmidt" you have seen me naked (though I am a blonde).
My DVD looks like a 2nd generation VHS tape.
Wish someone would restore this and sell me a BD.
Older films. LOL!
