Strange, disturbing film...

This movie was so strange. It was a murder mystery but it then went into Lifetime movie mode trying to reach this autistic boy. Not shocking or entertaining enough to give a good review but strangely watchable.

Linda Hamilton and John Lithgow had throw away roles that could have been done by just graduated actors from college.

All of the acting was sub par. And the revelation of the goings on was disgusting at best.

But I think was the worst was the very end on Halloween-that fell so flat.

A boring thriller that could have been more with a better script.

4 out of 10.

strange yes, but I don't think it was very disturbing

I give it a 6/10

I do agree about the way they wasted Linda Hamilton and John Lithgow.

Acting was average to good in my opinion. Revelation of the goings on: may be disgusting to people like the OP, but reality to some others, unfortunately. The only thing I agree with is the ending, which did feel a bit contrived. It may have been better to show Tyler in the end, crying in mental hospital, or waking up from a nightmare.

I give it a 5/10.
