May be stupid to ask, but does Billy die in the end?
I really need to know, because Jude Law characters tend to die and it would make one more in his recort.
I don't think he dies, and that is the true hell that his character will have to face. Paul W S Anderson really didn't wanted his "hero2 to get it off easily, and he will pay for his actions,a nd dying would only glamorize his former life, but by keep on living, he will have to pay for the idiotic life he had.

shareI was about to ask the same question. I actually think that one of the previous posters is right that he probably didn´t die. Maybe it´s because it´s hard to pretend to be dead when you have to keep your eyes open, but he didn´t look dead to me. Anyway, it´s true that this would be the biggest punishment for him. His friends are all dead (I suppose Sadie´s character died) and he´ll go to prison.
And you´re right, Jude´s characters tend to die in his movies. I can think of 6 movies where he dies and I haven´t seen them all.
I like to think he did die... just inches away from that shop window.
