I just bought my DVD of Shopping off of amazon.com and the picture quality is fairly bad as well as the audio. Was it availible in anamorphic widescreen or not? It seems that this DVD is poorly constructed or bootlegged. Does anyone here have the same thing with their DVD?
shareYup. The transfer's a piece of crap. It is, unfortunately, the only DVD in existence although I saw a bootleg on EBAY. You oughtta check that out.

I recorded mine off a pay-tv provider (foxtel) in australia
because it was on at some strange hour in the morning.
It's Stereo sound (sound great through the stereo),
And the picture is perfectly clear.
I dont know if There is actually a remastered version around or not,
but i could not fault the pay-tv version.
its quality is aa good as any of my other movies (originals included).

I bought this on my brother's (albeit rose-tinted) reccomendation, the sound is really quiet and you have to turn it up loud. picture isnt too bad considering it's 13 yrs old.
shareCan someone please tell me if there is an audio commentary on the DVD release? I suspect it's only on the new Bluray but you never know....
