These just keep getting better

Wow. I just watched this for the first time. And, wow, this one was so sad. Good, tho. I'm watching the Sharpes in order. The first one was okay, but it seems like the actors grow more into their characters with each movie. I haven't read the books yet, so please no spoilers for future.
It's funny, I was never a Sean Bean fan til I started watching these. There was alot of buzz about him in lord of the rings; I never really "got" it. Now, since, I've started watching these, I'm really seeing his talent. (and that he's a hotty). One more aussie on the list. Perhaps I should watch lord of the rings again. I'm thinkin' he should've been aragorn, viggo was good, maybe sean would have been better.
Thoughts?

'One more Aussie'? I'm so confused! Do you mean Sean Bean, or yourself? I agree though - Sean's talent (and hotness) needs to be recognised the world over! I don't agree with the Aragorn bit though - Sean Bean's a bit too rough and ready...Aragorn (displaying my complete geekiness here!) was supposed to have been raised by elves, so he would have had a little 'prissiness' about him!

I brought the box set of Sharpe the other day - and I'm gonna watch them all in order - so far this one's my favourite (and way better than the later Sharpe's Gold!)
