Cut beyond belief

Just watched this on UK tv the other day (the Yesterday channel, which used to be History). As it was so cut there was a few bits that didnt make sense. Namely is Hurleys character made to strip in front of Sharpe as they mention this later to him, also Duco's turns up at the end with a small cut on his cheek how did this happen? Lastly when Obediah is killed by the officer do you see him actually do it as it just sort of cut away and you heard the gun shot in the version I saw?

yep, when Sharpe and the french colonel go into the rebel held area, she was made to strip in front of sharpe. in the american PBS version you dont see any nudity, I'm not sure whether or not there ever was any.

as far as ducos goes, him and Sharpe had words and sharpe crushed his spectacles, it may have been related to that; I havent seen the episode in about 4 years or so though so I'm not sure

they do cut away so you dont see the officer killing him with his pistol

RE: Elizabeth Hurley.

I have the Sharpe box set,and yes, Elizabeth Hurley's character is made to 'show her goodies' as Hakeswell calls it, but you don't see her breasts really, it's done very tastefully and then Sharpe very gently laces her bodice back up and asks does she have a message for her husband.

Actually, a very touching moment..
