It's been a while since I've seen this movie, but I remember one part that absolutely freaked me out. I think it was towards the end, when one of those dolls started crying. The crying started out kind of quiet, but then it started shrieking. It was really pretty creepy when I was younger. I haven't seen it in a while, but I wonder if it would still have the same affect.
shareYeah, the crying is creepy and the scary music they play totally freaked me out when I saw this in second grade. Flint_fireballs you're not the only one those dolls were scary!

Old thread, but I'm gonna reply anyway.
I loved this movie when I was a kid, and that scene also stood out in my memory. Well, I saw it again recently, and no, it didn't have the same effect. In fact, I thought it was pretty cheesy. Generally speaking, what's entertaining when you're 8 is going to fall flat when you're 20 (speaking for myself, of course).
My 9-year-old niece loves it, though.
I just posted about this scene in another thread! I think this was the scariest part of the movie for me as a chld and fortunately, the scene still had the same effect on me as an adult.
