The Shadow needs to protect Gotham City as Bruce wayne retired

Wouldn't the Shadow be much older than Bruce Wayne? Therefore, too old to even help out?

I would like to hope that The Shadow wouldn't age at all. It sure didn't work in some Shadow comics that had the characters age and was placed in the present and not the 1930s.

THe irony is that Batman started out as a imitation of the Shadow. The first Batman story's plot was lifted directly from a Shadow Pulp novel.

Back when this was released, Baldwin could had been a solid choice for Bruce Wayne.
