I really can't see it. Actually, I can't see ANYONE but Kathleen Turner in this role. She was too perfect.

nope.. i love susan sarandon but her voice is too giggly... and her acting would have been too... ditzy...

kathleen turner is the perfect serial killer mom. deep voice, moving with confidence in every step.. and the maniacal look on her face.. hilariously terrifying. just imagine finding her in your closet... haha.
