Why didn't Dottie use Caller ID?
Then she could've avoided the trouble of finding out who her obscene phone caller was.

In 1993, they were expensive
Also some people choose to have private non-listed phone numbers which don't always show up on Caller ID
Every prank caller knows that all you have to do is dial a certain set of numbers (I forgot them) before you dial the victim's number and your number won't show up on their caller ID, because pretty much everyone has caller ID these days.
Some guady moth or butterfly, still alive, was safely pinned to the wall.
Back in 1993, caller ID was VERY uncommon, if even known about.
shareWhere were you in the 90s? Caller ID was practically non existent.
shareI remember when my mother got a caller ID in the 90s. She hid it from my father. One day, he came back unexpectedly and had a fit about it. Now, he can't live without knowing who's calling (though he rarely gets a call). I think it's amusing.
share*67 blocks your number from caller ID.
Kara Thrace will lead the human race to its end.
When I moved into my first apartment in 1996 in my early twenties.. about a year later i got a caller id box - it was the white ones that were made when they first came out (not sure if they still make them that way) you hooked it up into your phone..I think it was 1997 when I had it. Then around 98/99 I had a black sony cordless 900mhz (the big deal mhz phone) with the now built in universal caller id. But I guess that was obviously after this movie was made (93' made, 94' out in theatres?)

Suzanne Somers, this is my BAD SIDE!
Honestly, I don't remember Caller ID being around 16 years ago. Maybe I just
don't recall. Pagers were the big thing at the time.
