sharethey're actually called L7. A 'grunge' band that was popular in the late 80s and early 90s. They were good friends with Nirvana and Sonic Youth and did some touring with them. I suggest their albums "Bricks are Heavy" and "Hungry for Stink".

I haven't seen this movie in years but I can tell how sliced up the networks made this movie to watch on TV. I'll have to see if it's on on demand, on tv they cut out A LOT of this scene, I guess they were really going for big toes lol

Band's real name is L7. They're one of the reasons I watched this film back in the day.

I love them. I don't know if the tampon story is true. They had a "bad reputation". and they are NOT "grunge". They were very rockers, heavy with punk mixture.
