Too bad Beverly hadn't been more careful. For a serial killer, she was extremely careless (not cleaning off the fire poker, using her own car to run over the teacher)...I think it would've been a touch better if she had at least tried...but either way, it's a great movie.
shareI have wondered how Beverly could have made such a huge mistake in not cleaning off the poker and her shoe. She was clearly intelligent. I can only chalk it up to having a temporary lapse or two which is one of the symptoms of her insanity, or the infamous theory of "all criminals secretly want to get caught".
