the detective at the trial
There's one thing about the part where he's being questioned that I can never decide/understand. Maybe it was done intentionally, and ultimately, it doesn't really matter, but I'm always curious.
The part where she shows kinky magazines that were found in his garbage, and then she and the garbage collectors exchange a look.
One of the following happened:
A: Everything she said is true, and those really are his magazines, and the collectors found them. Possible.
B: She had the garbage collectors plant and "find" the magazines in his trash. Obviously she'd be willing to do this, and you'd think a detective would be smarter, but his outburst after made it seem like they were his.
Thoughts?
