There appears to be no listing for "The Pamela Principle" on IMDb. Just this movie, apparently the sequel. I have both these movies on a VHS reel and I was hoping to find out something about the original here. Anyone out there able to help out with some info? No urgency but it would be appreciated.

shareI'm trying to recreate the facts from memory, my notes made at the time (15 years ago) are gone, but I recollect that the leading actress, with two pseudonyms to identify her in IMDb, was actually an adult film actress, who like the director Paul Thomas, was working here across the line in the softcore genre. That means that IMDb conveniently leaves out all the hardcore credits. From memory I thought she was Lene Hefner, but don't quote me: this requires some viewing to establish such a fact. At any rate, I think an avenue of research would be to match her with some hardcore leading ladies of the exact same period, say 1990-92, and see if you can identify her. This practice of dual careers is still in vogue, I don't mean a crossover like Sasha Grey in a Soderbergh film, but more like Shyla Stylez, who is a top actress in hardcore porn, but often shows up in simulated sex softcore "Harlequin Romance" (almost) type videos -same analogy as PP to the XXX sex films of its era.
