Indian 'Silence of the Lambs'..?

Is this a Indiana version of Oscar winning "Silence of the lambs"

Any way I hate to tell you that as the greatest villain in the Hollywood is Hannibal Lector, greatest villain in the Bollywood is Lajja Shankar Pandey..

Great movie.. I still remember the story..

Sorry.. you are getting this reply after a very very very long time !!

Yes, it's Bollywood version of Silence of the Lambs..
And Yes for Lajja Shankar Pandey too !!

But, I felt Akshay Kumar wasn't right choice for Hannibal Lector.
Anthony Hopkins at his best in "Silence of.. "
and Ashutosh Rana (Lajja Shankar Pandey) in the place of "Buffalo Bill" is amazing.

Indian producer only think about using the star power of actor and in this movies case also although akshay kumar cannot be considered for the role of hannibal but they use him.comparatively akshay's acting is not even 1 percent near to the acting done by anthony hopkin's in the silence of the lamb, but they used him so that to make movie successful. There are various movies in bollywood whose story is too good but the movie is not at par because of choosing of wrong actor for that role.

Those days Akki was a flop star....He had given 3 years of continuous flops....
I find it amusing how Hannibal Lectre's role was changed...Afterall they couldn't make the audiences believe that Akki can be a cannibal..Ashutosh Rana rocked
