No, you're not alone, i saw the movie because i am a big fan of Anthony Wong.
The movie wasn't that great, but not even that bad.
I have it on laserdisc and the Ocean Shores DVD, and desperately trying to edit it together for the last action sequence to make sense.
This was on Channel 4 in the UK a number of years ago and I have it on VHS somewhere. The subtitles had been remastered and the print quality and action sequences seemed intact. I'll have to dig it up and check whether the shot of the bad guy's second hand being shot off is in there.
The channel 4 presentation was the first time I saw this movie. I definitely remember the print and subtitles being of a much better quality than the HK DVD copy I have, which is either incredibly poorly mastered or a shabby quality knock-off. Either way I haven't brought myself to watch it as I know it's doing the movie no justice whatsoever.
It was so long ago now that I saw this on C4 that I can barely remember any specifics, and all I can recall of the final action sequence is a couple of guys (handcuffed?) tumbling down an embankment, maybe out at the Hong Kong docks?
