Stupid ending

Some wacko psycho bitch tries to gun down two innocent people and she becomes a hero and saint in the end? Spab did not kill innocent people. He killed terrorists that were most likely going to kill him and other innocent people. Was he a hero? That's debatable. I don't think he was trying to be a hero and I think he did it because he just didn't care anymore what happened to him.

They hand us this whole thing in the end about how Spab doesn't want fame or to be a hero. He just wants to live happily ever after with Wendy. Fine. I was waiting for him to make a speech in the end of the movie at the auditorium. I was waiting for him to tell everyone how he wasn't a hero and why he really attacked the terrorists and what the catchphrase "so ****** what" really meant. He should've said his piece, told everyone to leave him alone and to remember the innocent people that were killed (like Joe). Then he should've just walked out of the place with Wendy beside him. But instead we get this dumb ending. Instead of Spab doing the right thing, the movie has to end with Spab walking away after getting shot by some nutcase. I don't want to hear the ending was ironic or clever or anything like that. It was just plain dumb. If that psycho had killed Spab and Wendy in the end and got the death penalty, would she have become Joan of Arc?
