Where can I find this on DVD

paulnorman7, I am having the exact same problem. I have been searching everywhere for it and can't find it anywhere. I was told by a guy who worked in a DVD store that it was never released on DVD in Europe. I was in America last month and searched everywhere for it. I found this small rental store (that also sold DVDs) and saw a copy of it. I thought that I had struck gold until the shop assistant said that it wasn't for sale.

Hopefully it will be released soon. I saw it when it was released in late 1994 and it left a lasting impression on me.

I buy all my Region 2 dvd's from alapage.com, which is like amazon but an online store in France. They currently have the re-release collector's edition of the movie available. Note that this is the re-release and not the original dvd which was out many years ago (which I have and am planning to buy the collector's edition soon). The prices are better on alapage.com than they are on fnac.com, also in France, and who have more varied titles than alapage.com which mainly stocks the more popular titles. Also, alapage.com has that same thing amazon.com has where you can buy used dvd's from private sellers.

I would really really wish that Criterion or Moc or BFI can release it on blu ray with English subtitles.

This is a wonderful film that I watched once a year.
