Eric Thal's mouth expresions
Did any one else find it weird how he was constantly holding his mouth open?

Yea at first I thought it was due to the alien taking over his body since I didn't notice him doing that until he got taken. Then I noticed none of the other aliens were doing it, and he continued after the alien was removed, and more so as the movie continued.
Maybe it's just his acting style: mouth method.
He probably thought they made a sequel to the Body Snatchers remake with Donald Sutherland and copied their behavior when they spotted a normal human. ;)

DEFINITELY! You noticed that too!
You want a REAL piece of trivia; Malcom Macdowall complained about the EXACT same thing when he did it during a brief goofy swordplay scene in the 1969 film 'IF...' He mentions it in the commentary. But THIS guy did it through the WHOLE bloody film!
