this one, mariachi, desperado, dusk till dawn, the faculty (zap four rooms. snoooooze)


i love his style, he made engaging stories no matter how plain the topic. he really was into pleasing the viewer then. didn't matter what he did, he could make it interesting to watch. a can of soup even. he could film shots of that and make it fun to watch


but now, i am not impressed in the last ten years. except for sin city, the stuff he has made bores me. i HATE to say that, but it's true


but i watched roadracers again yesterday and it reminded me all over why i loved his work so much in the 90s


i wish the old robert would come back, and make us some good movies
