Did anybody else notice that Dude Delaney and also J.T are in planet terror. Granted they are played by different actors their name and mannerisms are the same. Did Rodriguez do this on purpose? Perhaps he loved the characters so much he had to put them in another movie, or could he have just been lazy idk gotta ask him i guess.
shareYeah, i noticed that too. J.T. was the cook, and Dude Delaney could be the prototype for El Wray. But I think those are just tropes Rodriguez likes to use. There was also a scene where the hero played guitar for the love interest, and some of the driving scenes looked like Sin City.
I can't remember who said it, but there's a quote that goes something like: " If a director repeats a couple of things from film to film they're a hack, but if a director repeats themselves all the time it becomes a style."
