Been mixing this up with kalifornia for years

It's like the same movie. The same lady plays the good guy's wife,gf. I just know this as the movie where a dude gets hit in the head and goes full retard.

Yes, I must admit that I had the same problem as Lastflip.

The two films are so similar that 'Roadflower' DOES seem to be the bargain-basement version of 'Kalifornia'. I'm surprised that their was no legal action taken against the makers of 'Roadflower' under the circumstances. By the way, the lead actress Michelle Forbes hated working on the film and her name does not appear on the DVD cover. I believe that her experience on 'Kalifornia' was a lot more pleasant.

By the way, Lastfip, I take strong exception to your remark that Brolin went 'full retard' after he was struck in the head. Dude, did nobody ever tell you that you must never, EVER go full retard in a movie? Just ask Sean Penn after the reviews of 'Sam I Am'!

Yes, I saw 'Tropic Thunder' too...

I don't think this movie is that much like Kalifornia, but it's VERY similar to an old movie called "Hot rods to Hell"... check that one out!!

There are some superficial similarities yeah. Both excellent films in my opinion. The Road Killers is much more an intentional B-film, which pays off for it. Kalifornia is one of my favorite films period. I'd suspect most fans of either to fan some value in the other, so it's a good recommendation.

Kalifornia also has at least some superficial similarities to Natural Born Killers, which is another favorite film of mine.
