3D Glasses
Anybody else remember the 3D glasses you'd get if you bought a Slurpee at 7-11, for watching this movie?

shareThey should have given out blindfolds, this movie sucked big time!
Heck, I might as well promote my website - http://www.andybob.com
Yeah well... it was cool 'cuz they also gave out smell cards...
sharePeople still say "big time"? Now that's a nerd.
shareThey didn't give them away for free in my town (the Capitol of California). I had to drive about 13 miles to the nearest 7-11 that was still 'selling' them for $1 each package. That was the only store selling them in the entire area.

You are the weakest link Goodbye
this is the only message board on this movie
i still have the 3d glasses and cards
The set of 3-D glasses and 8 scratch n' sniff cards (4 for this film, 4 for an episode of "Living Single") were 33ยข at 7-11 stores. The glasses were also to be used for an episode of "Married with Children" that had 3-D sequences. It was all part of the gimmicky "Fox-O-Rama" week-long ratings stunt in May, 1994.
As TV Guide said of the scratch n' sniff cards, NERDS didn't need them -- the movie already stunk.
Yes I remember, and I did pay I believe it was like 33 cents for the glasses & cards, good times
