Brings back the sweet nostalgic feeling of my youth

I was probably around 8 or 9 yrs old when I first watched this movie. My mother and I spent many of our days together watching chinese dramas and movies. This movie in particular had left an impact on me, I loved it from the first time I saw it and remember taping it on the old school VCR so I could watch it over and over again, which I did. Then, growing up, I somehow lost the title of the movie but never forgot about it and for a long time I tried searching for it to no avail. I just happened to stumble across it on a site and this is 11 yrs later, I watched it again..and I still love it! Yes, it does have it's share of cheesiness, but that's something I love about it. Christy Chung is gorgeous in it, and I think she does a really good job of playing the clueless, and sincerely pure and innocent mermaid. Anyways, just thought I'd share my 2 cents about this lovely movie =)
