My Russian dvd version is 154 minutes.
wow! that´s great news! after years of waiting for a good dvd edition it finally seems that this 3-dvd-set is delievering what we wished for!

i'm asking myself now if this 3 dvd special edition set is only avaible in germany???for me as german it is so great and i can't wait for november:)(a dream come true)but for the english speaking people from the us or england,i don't think there will be english subtiteles.

Too bad that only the short cut it's available at my local videstore. I just loved this film. The cast is top notch plus the story is quite compelling.
Now I am tempted to buy the original cut. But I think I'll wait for the Blu-ray version; This movie should look fantastic on Hi-Def.
I had no idea a 3 disc collector's edition had been released - I've waited years to see a complete version of this film, and the prospect of so much bonus material is tremendously exciting.
I'll start lobbying Umbrella Entertainment in Australia. They've released the film on DVD in Australia several times times during the past 8 years or so - hopefully they'll release the 3 disc edition with English subtitles.
It's probably a bit late now, but a release of the collector's edition with English subtitles this year (2009) would be a great way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this remarkable film.

then there is the 2 disc long version and bonus
finally there is currently a one disc long version
The new French disc is the DIRECTORS version and is 2 disc
