What is this?

I bought Red Scorpion with Dolph Lundgren for about 4 dollars and i watched and i thinked it kind of sucked a bit but it was at least a bit of braindead so it was a little funny. On the front of the dvd it said "Red Scorpion that became so popular and grossed so much in box-office so it spawned a sequel" or somethin like that...The "Sequel" does not have the same logo not any of the original actors just some unknown dudes and have not the same director! Is there anything about this movie that connects it to Red Scorpion? And the thing is that everyone knows about RS but not of RS2 and is it any good?heard something about nazis?

It's been a LONG while since i've seen either film, but I actually remember this one being more action packed than the first. That's about all I can tell you.

Matt McColm is esentially a Dolph Ludgren or Jean Claude Van Damme that just didn't make it as big as those actors did. I remember seeing him in a few other TV or straight to video action flicks too. He also played in the late 90's superhero series NightMan.

That's just about as much as I can remember about Red Scorpion 2 and/or it's star.

I would have to agree with that one other poster about this film being more action packed than the first. It also gets into the action quicker too.

not any of the original actors just some unknown dudes

I wouldn't exactly refer to Michael Ironside, Jennifer Rubin, John Savage or Paul Ben-Victor as unknowns. Just think about the more bigger name movies or more widely-known movies they have been in. Total Recall, Bad Dreams, The Deer Hunter, Tombstone, and the list goes on.

This movie is cool but,I liked the first one with Dolph more. Matt Mccolm was ok in this, but he is no Dolph
