Have either Tarantino or Travolta ever publicly commented on why they only worked together once?

Given that Pulp Fiction is a hugely popular movie which revived Travolta's career (for a time, anyway...) and given Tarantino's penchant for working with some of the same actors over and over, it's odd that Travolta was never in another Tarantino movie.

After Pulp Fiction Travolta got a lot of high profile roles and Tarantino made Jackie Brown, which was a pretty low-key movie

You could ask the same question about Bruce Willis. I think Travolta and Willis just became so in-demand that their work schedules and lifestyles didn't sync up with Tarantino's

Tarantino is now sort of an Oscar baity director, but that only actually happened after Inglorious Bastards, not Pulp Fiction
