Some interesting facts about this movie

I was in a private school when this was made and i remember seeing when it was made.

the Russian Parliment was in revolt and on the news there was a statement made,

"I hope the american film crew is safe away from all this, filming the new Police Academy movie"

In fact in a car chase scene you can see the Parliment battle going on (gunfire also heard)


Michael Winslow said in a interview, that while filming in Gorky Park, Police approached them and demanded that they stop using their radios because several calls on them about emergencies were interfering with the Parliment crisis.
