Brokeback Mountain reference?

Anyone have any theories as to why the new IVL disc of this 1994 film includes subtitles that mention Brokeback Mountain? Is it just in the subtitles, or was there a new dub produced in either Cantonese or Mandarin that featured the joke? Whuzzah?

I didn't see version that you saw. Could you describe the Brokeback Mountain reference? The person who wrote the subtitles probably took some liberty in writing them. The original Cantonese dialog mentions nothing about Brokeback Mountain, in fact, it couldn't have because the movie was made before Brokeback Mountain.
