Why is Reggie so freaking horny? He lost his wife and kid in the second movie and he's already tried to hit it with 2 girls. I haven't seen the 4th movie yet but I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to seduce the Tall Man.

no tall man seduction in part 4, and yes, he tries to hook up again only to be toyed with again by a couple of the spheres in a blonde broads chest....
i think the reason they keep showing reggie trying to hook up with broads is just for comic relief, they wanted to get a few laughs out of the phantasm series at reggies expense ;[as if he isn't already goofy enough!] they did the same thing with ash n the evil dead series, going from a dark scary movie to goofy to take away from the horror aspect. i'll make a wager with you though, i bet reggie won't be getting shot down by any gals in phantasms end, the darkest movie in the saga when it's finished!
How much you want to bet Phantasm's End doesn't get made? As it is, all it ever was was someone's pipe dream. Okay, so Bruce Campbell was in Bubba HoTep (as was Reg), which was actually a pretty funny movie - that doesn't mean he'll be making any appearance in (if there ever is) a final Phantasm film.
As much as I would like there to be another Phantasm, after the last one, there's a lot they'd have to do to make up for the utter poor quality of Phantasm Oblivion. Sorry, but you don't end a movie series with a barely strung-together plot tied in with stock footage that didn't make the original's cut. I mean, what the hell was that? Was the ending supposed to mean that Mike and Reg got sent back in time and the whole thing was just a dream? Is that what The Tall Man meant when he said, "it's all in his head"? I thought it was just a bad pun referring to the sphere now in Mike's head.
And why does do the spheres look so bad in Phantasm Oblivion? The first one was new special effects, the second one they were bigger and nastier, the third one they could do tricks and looked much smoother and more stream-lined - then comes Phantasm Oblivion. We've got very poor computer-generated spheres that look cartoonish, and then the ones that float in mid-air appear to be swirling as if dangling from a string. Okay, I'm getting nitpicky...
Anyway, to get back to the topic - Reg has been horny since the first Phantasm! Remember when he goes to help the Lady in Lavender? Also, the guy's feet at the beginning of the movie were Reg's; he was standing in for the actor playing Tommy - and yes, that was Kathy Lester on top of him! Aside from the films, what the hell does his band "The Jizz-Wailin' Ya Daggies" name mean? Think about that!

I didn't see anything horny about that. I just assumed he was trying to help her, as any gentleman would. I never thought of him as being horny in the first film, just kind of dumb and sweet. Films 2, 3 and 4, well, somebody had to provide the comic relief and it sure couldn't be Mike the Hero or Angus the Bad Guy, so who was left?

Actually, he's a pretty good musician and is happily married in real life, horny band name aside. I know he plays a total horndog in the films, but I spent an evening drinking with him and his wife one night and he was nothing but polite, didn't even try to look down my dress once...and the view is pretty good, if I do say so myself. (ha!) :P He's one of the nicest and most unpretentious people in the film business that I've met to date.
That's why Reggie is the coolest character! :-D
I love how he tries to seduce Rockey in P3 and the kid has to sleep in the car^^ Also the scene, where he has a wet dream about him and Rockey is just so nice :D
I dont know why he's so horny but I think it's hilarious. Poor thing never gets the girl.
