I'd give it a 5/10. (Spoilers)

The film is problematic, illogical at times, but it has some decent moments of action and a genuinely creepy villain. Mueller comes across as someone with a fatherly obsession. He seems to forget that a coach isn't the same as a parent and, for a villain, that's suitably unnerving.

I think I really have two gripes about the film:

1) the lack of a proper fight against the big guy
2) the ending

It was interesting to see the tall mustached guy take Dolph Lundgren down and pin him in a fair fight. The got me hyped to see the presumable rematch later on in the film. But Dolph blew him up instead of beating him up. Major disappointment.

And the bad guy escaping only to show up in the crowd... It's as if the writer stopped and asked himself "What's the most cliche, non-satisfactory way I could possibly end this movie?"

Other than that, I found the film mildly enjoyable. I think the generic throwaway title lends itself to projection. It's a "bad" film, don't get me wrong, but I think people go in expecting Plan 9 levels of bad and pick apart everything they can because of it.

I don't know if I would ever watch it again, but it's far from the worst action movie I've ever seen.
