What was Michael Caine thinking?

My guess is he had an off day because i would have never imagined him starring in a Segal film almost like him starring in a Van Damme film. Then again it had John C. McGinley in it.

This is the same Michael Caine who couldn't accept his Oscar for "Hannah and Her Sisters" in person, because he was off filming "Jaws: the Revenge". The guy likes to work, and this was an easy paycheck and a free trip to Alaska.

I remember the guy actually made a proper awards night speech that started "I've made a lot of films... and I've made a lot of *beep*"

(man, the irony of this message board for this ridiculously brutal film censoring the word for feces is hilarious!)

reply

"Who's this Forest? Is this the new b___ch you've been banging. We banged hookers like this for 5 dollars in Bangkok." Who else but Caine could deliver that line.

reply

He was thinking about the paycheck.

Just like when he was in Jaws 4. That movie sucked as well but the house it payed for apparently doesn't.

reply

Actually, Caine has raised his standards, partly because he damn near retired because Seagal was such a jerk.😃

He was previously in 'Jaws: The Revenge' which is in my opinion a much worse movie than 'On Deadly Ground'. Dude just wants to get paid sometimes I guess.
