Michael Caine

Was it just me or did anyone else genuinely hate him in this flick? Not his acting (phenomenal), but the fact that his character could have been killed off in any way and you would have cheered? The only other actor that made me hate a character this much was Philip Seymour Hoffman in Mission Impossible. Can anyone think of any others?

He didn't bother me as much because Caine is awesome in anything he does. I loved to see Paul Reiser's character Burke in Aliens get killed since he was such a douchebag in that show.

Clarence Boddiker in Robocop. Totally despicable & deranged.

Michael Caine made a better villain than this film deserved. The anticlimactic way in which his character is dealt with is arguably the film's greatest folly.

Jon Voight (Thomas Reynolds) in Enemy of the State. I definitely cheered when he got gunned down by the mob.
